Concept Treatment

“Zach & Ollie” is about two relentlessly positive, abstract creatures. Nothing ever seems to bother them or get in their way. Why? Because they don’t doubt anything. If they believe they can do it, then they can do it. Zach and Ollie never give up because they believe there is always a solution to a problem, no matter how obscure or bizarre. The two of them live in a wonderfully stylized and trippy world. There are no humans here, just characters based around shapes. Everything is light and colorful. Even the darkest nights are warm and inviting.

At its core, the show is about positivity and believing in yourself. Zach and Ollie frequently meet characters with impossible-to-solve problems, and that has made these characters very, very sad. Zach and Ollie cheer them up by concocting wildly hilarious answers to seemingly impossible situations. The show will also be about creativity, allowing kids the opportunity to stretch their brains as they try to figure out the answer to an episode’s dilemma before Zach and Ollie do. At the end of the day, Zach and Ollie always solve the character's problem because there’s no problem so great that a solution can’t be found. You just need to be creative enough and think the whole thing through.
